About us

Established in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Grassroots Foundation Inc. has been dedicated to serving the communities of Cope, Joes, and Kirk.

In 1998, Yuma District Hospital generously donated the clinic building, and by 2001, the Grassroots Community Building was constructed as a welcoming space for all.

Our community center offers a variety of amenities, including a computer room for personal use and a small library where visitors can borrow or donate books. The building is also available free of charge for memorial services, and it can be rented for weddings, receptions, parties, music events, art showcases, and other gatherings.

We are committed to fostering community engagement and providing a space where everyone can come together.
